We are a full-service law firm for individuals
and businesses in the Chicagoland area.
From its founding in 1998 by partners Dean B. Chalmers and Stuart M. Nagel, the firm has embraced a client-centered approach that is committed to diligently and zealously providing the kind of sophisticated and high-quality legal services that you might expect at the very largest law firms, while representing clients with a level of personal service, responsiveness, creativity and cost-effectiveness that you find more typical of a smaller law firm.
In October 1998, Dean B. Chalmers and Stuart M. Nagel formed after they served together as co-chairmen for the Chicago Bar Association’s Federal Trial Bar Training Course, a course offered by the Chicago Bar Association to young lawyers who need to fulfill certification requirements to be admitted to the federal trial bar.
Dean B. Chalmers is a seasoned and accomplished litigator and trial lawyer who has successfully tried numerous arbitrations and jury trials to verdict. Mr. Chalmers has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of persons who have been victimized and suffered physical, mental or financial injury as a result of the acts or omissions of others.
Stuart M. Nagel has vast experience in complex litigation and business transactions. Mr. Nagel has prevailed in litigation involving a wide variety of substantive areas in the Illinois state, appellate and federal courts, some of which have received national media attention. He is also highly skilled in contractual drafting and negotiation and has closed a diverse array of business transactions in a myriad of industries.
The firm also benefits from the support of attorney Jay C. Orseno.
